The Sorcerer's Apprentice
Created by Michael Sommers, composed by Eric Jensen, sound design by Sean Healey, lighting design by Michael Murnane.
Our adaptation of The Sorcerers Apprentice for the marionette stage is a look at youth and aging, the allure of power, and the beauty of a life well lived.
First produced by Open Eye in 2012, The Sorcerer's Apprentice is one of our most popular shows appealing to both children and adult audiences with it's highly designed production, original score, and masterful puppetry.
ATTENTION: Due to demand, the Sorcerer's Apprentice has been extended to November 27th.
Reviews so far have called the production: "exquisitely conceived and designed" and "sweet and mythically charming"
Age Recommendation: 8 years and up.
ACCESSIBILITY: The ASL interpretation on Sunday, November 13th has been cancelled if you have questions or comments please contact peter.rusk@openeyetheatre.org or call 612-874-6338.
