It has been twelve years since the term "Rogue Taxidermy" was coined, transforming the conversation of alternative taxidermy. Co-founder of the Minnesota Association of Rogue Taxidermy, Robert Marbury will present an illustrated presentation on the changes in alternative taxidermy, taxidermy in art, as well as the role taxidermy in popular culture since 2004.
Marbury is a multi-disciplinary artist working in fabric, photography, and fur, living in Baltimore, MD. He is the author of "Taxidermy Art: A Rogue's Guide to the Work, the Culture, and How to Do It Yourself", as well as a co-founder of the Minnesota Association of Rogue Taxidermists.
