BARRY MANILOW TRIBUTE SHOW
Main Event Entertainment presents: SENIOR SHOWTIME!
At the lovely Olympia Events Center, in Mt. Dora, Senior Showtime will present an exciting series of shows along with a delicious buffet lunch! Friday afternoons at 1:00 p.m. DOORS OPEN AT 11:00 for lunch!
Our SECOND show of the season is October 7, 2016 - a tribute to BARRY MANILOW!
Chuck Perry has been singing, playing the piano and entertaining people around the world for over 30 years and brings his tribute to Barry Manilow to the Olympia Events Center!
Chuck started his professional career at the age of 18, performing his own cabaret show in country clubs and singing, playing the piano in hotels and private clubs from North Carolina to Florida. He landed his first cruise ship job as piano bar entertainer in 1982 with Cunard Cruise line, and thirteen years later ended up as Cruise Director for Royal Viking and finally Royal Caribbean International, participating in every entertainment aspect of the business in between. He's currently writing new shows and performing in theaters, hotels and cruise ships, always available to travel.
Chuck has performed extended engagements at Sandals Resort in Turks & Caicos Island, annual runs with NCLA Cruises in Hawaii, as well as with Norwegian Cruise Lines, including the Spirit out of New Orleans and recently entertained crowds while sailing through Australia, New Zealand, Tahiti, Hawaii and Alaska - - always performing his own arrangements and musical interpretations from Frank Sinatra and all the beautiful standards of the day, to Barry Manilow, Elton John, Billy Joel.
First class entertainment in a beautiful setting, the Olympia Events Center welcomes large groups and has PLENTY of parking for Busses!
