Southampton Cultural Center (SCC) to host inaugural Tumbleweed Tuesday Business/Culture Alliance. An evening to celebrate the end of summer and plan to strengthen our community- all year

Art, culture and heritage play a critical role in stimulating our village economy while enriching both our quality of
life and the experiences of living and visiting here. The SCC has played a leadership role in establishing the Southampton Village Art District, which has resulted in a significant increase in art/cultural tourism, to the additional benefit of local businesses. Especially notable is our recent, highly attended SeptemberFest, which required the collaboration of business, government and our cultural/heritage organizations to make it the success it was.

But how can we, as an alliance, continue to promote our village as a destination for cultural, art and eco-tourism during the much slower shoulder seasons, thereby increasing business activity? Besides the casual fun of the evening, this question will be the key topic for discussion.

To that end, we cordially invite you to celebrate the evening with drinks and bites, to learn more about the SCC and its plans for future investments in facilities, equipment and programming, and to participate in how we can solidify our developing alliance to both improve our quality of life and strengthen the economic fabric of the Village.

Dress and atmosphere are casual . The evening will include a short presentation and open forum.
