La Bamba - Afro-Mexican Dinner and Dance
An Evening of Celebration of Afro Mexican Culture
Join us for a spectacular evening of culture and fun. The evening features a 5-course Afro Mexican dinner curated by chef Dora Elena Careaga-Coleman.
The exclusive event is the first time the Twin Cities' community has had a chance to taste and learn about the African culinary influence on Mexican cuisine. Chef Cerdan will tag-team with Obsidian Arts staff to wrap the dining experience with bite-sized food and art pairings which provide delightful and informative glimpse into this history.
Dinner and dance tickets may be purchased separately or together.
This event is presented by the Mexican Consulate of Saint Paul, Obsidian Arts, and El Nuevo Rodeo.

Q&A
Question: |
I'd like to attend the dinner and am wondering if there will be a vegetarian or pescatarian option, or any accommodation can be made for food allergies. Thanks |
Answer: |
Hello - We can make fish based adjustments to your meal option. During the purchasing process, before buying, there is a question about food accomodation. Complete this question and it will be given to the chef ahead of time and the appropriate meal will be made for you. Thanks |
