Armed with his first new album in 4 years, Infowars, Sollee teams up with his longtime collaborator, drummer Jordon Ellis. The two dive deep into heavy cello and drum grooves, adventurous instrumentals, and achingly beautiful songs.
Since Sollees last full-length record he has been busy scoring multiple documentary films including Maidentrip and Smuin Ballets Baseballet for the San Francisco Giants. Ben has performed in two theater productions including Harold and the Purple Crayon, and created an interactive eco-art sculpture in his hometown of Lexington, KY called Livestream. He also teamed up with Woodpenny Games to create the virtual reality music app, The Vanishing Point. Lastly, Ben released a series of EPs including Steeples, Pt 1 and Pt 2 as well as Kentucky Spring, 2016 to celebrate the Kentucky Derby.
