On Saturday September 17th 2016, ukulele virtuoso and master teacher Stuart Fuchs returns to Dundas with a two part workshop and concert! If you attended last years workshop, youll remember what a great time it was! For this visit, Stuart will be offering a new ukulele workshop that he has been presenting at festivals and retreat centers all year long.
Ukulele Zen is a new and unique learning method developed by Stuart through his twenty years of experience with music performance, workshop facilitation and yoga & meditation practice.
The Ukulele Zen experience is open to all levels of player and helped 1000s of players to discover a more effortless way of playing. It is an incredibly fun and relaxed method of learning ukulele technique, ear training skills, and enlightening practice tips that will jumpstart your playing and take your ukulele journey to the next level! In both workshops well play great songs, learn new techniques, strums, melodies, and riffs to create a spontaneous ukulele orchestra together.
Be prepared to laugh as you learn - we hope you'll join us for this special event! After the workshops Stuart will also perform a short solo concert that will feature his ukulele, Brazilian guitar and world music stylings on his didjeridoo and native flutes.
