Divas A la Carte starring Joanne Juliette Lapointe, Kathryn Lowe, & Debi Wheeler-Ure
Divas A La Carte is a mix of many styles of music from Broadway, Pop Opera, and the Great American Songbook, and is a reunion of the three stars that worked together years ago in and around the Inland Empire and Los Angeles. Their combined show credits are many. A few of Joanne Juliet Lapointes include Lend Me a Tenor, Chicago, The Most Happy Fella and Gypsy, and two seasons with San Diego and Long Beach Light Opera Companies. But her favorite show is Red Hot Bubbles, her one-woman tribute to Carol Burnett, Madeline Kahn and Bette Midler. Kathryn Lowe grew up in Costa Mesa, has a Bachelors degree in voice from Occidental College. Her first professional experience was at 18, working in productions for Long Beach and Fullerton Civic Light Opera Companies, the High Desert Theater, and Grand Dinner Theater in Annaheim. Shows such as Man Of La Mancha, Camelot, My Fair Lady, Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, The King and I, Kiss Me Kate, and Brigadoon, to name a few. Debi Wheeler-Ure entered the theater scene in The Robber Bridegroom for Laguna Playhouse, which led to performances in Camelot, The Pajama Game, Sweet Charity, The Pirates of Penzance, The Fantasticks, and more. She has recorded several albums, created multiple solo cabaret acts and is a graduate of the Cabaret Symposium at Eugene ONeill Theater in New London, Connecticut.
