The Take Action Show: #blacklivesmatter
Wednesday August 17th 10pm at The Playground Theater
Members of the Chicago comedy scene have come together at the place where comedy meets activism. Tired of senseless deaths, too many guns, and a corrupt law enforcement system. This is a place where our community's comedians and performers can come together to voice their truth and to be heard openly. Each of these shows will have a specific focus in using our voice, both the performers' and the audiences' voices, to incite change directly within our own community.
This next show will specifically deal directly with helping to reform our law enforcement and help victims of violence. The organizations the August show will benefit: http://chicagosurvivors.org and http://stoppolicecrime.com
$5 of every ticket will go to each of the organizations.
