Girl Scout Junior Badge Workshop

Practice with a Purpose

October 29, 8:30-11:00am, check in begins at 8:15am.

Girls will:
* Set goals for their practice in learning or improving their skating
* Do strength training to improve skating
* Do endurance drills to improve speed in skating
* Do skills to learn how to maneuver on skates
* Create a training plan to improve skating skills
* Learn rules of Roller Derby
* Watch a Roller Derby demonstration

The cost of the workshop will include:
* Skate instruction by Roller Derby Girls
* Skate rental
* Personalized t-shirt (additional $10)
