LOCAL HARVEST- SUSTAINABLE FOODS
Please join Inland Northwest Land Conservancy, Pantry Fuel and Vino! A Wine Shop at the Kitchen at Second Harvest for a fun evening of food and wine. Enjoy an innovative, three-course meal featuring local ingredients that support not just a healthy diet, but also the protection of critical resources like water and land in food production. Nutrition counselor and Pantry Fuel founder, Jenny Van Cott, will present food demonstrations you will enjoy and tips you can take home to your own kitchen. John Allen of Vino! A Wine Shop will provide wine pairings and facilitate a conversation around the health benefits of a glass a day. Learn what Second Harvest is doing to promote healthy eating with the fresh products it distributes to thousands of people in need. At this event, you will have the opportunity to become an Inland Northwest Land Conservancy member and the opportunity to support Second Harvests mission. These two organizations are working to better our communities, from land to table.
