In her latest work, Wulf reveals the forgotten life of Alexander Von Humboldt, the naturalist whose ideas changed the way we see the natural world. She discusses his prediction of human-induced climate change and how his writings inspired other naturalists such as John Muir, Charles Darwin, and David Henry Thoreau. Her book champions a renewed interest in this vital player in environmental history and science.
Wulf trained as a design historian at the Royal College of Art in London. She is the author of "Chasing Venus, " "Founding Gardeners," and "The Brother Gardeners" which was awarded the American Horticultural Society Book Award.
