BEYOND GHOSTS: Dinner and a Ghost Hunt at the Historic Akron House
August 25, 2012- Beyond Ghosts takes you to one of Akron's most historic landmarks, The Akron House. The Akron house has been in operation as a business since 1836. In it's existence is served as a saloon, billiard hall, restaurant, hotel, and ballroom. It has had two fires in it's lifetime and was rebuilt from the original wooden structure that burned in 1890, to the brick structure that stand today. The Akron House was frequented often by US President Grover Cleveland who spent time in Akron to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life in Buffalo. Beyond Ghosts had the pleasure of investigating this location once before and it did not disappoint! We had encountered paranormal activity throughout the floors in the building. The third floor which at one time was hotel rooms is a place not to be missed. It is by far one of the creepiest locations we have investigated in all of the places we have been. The evening will consist of a delicious chicken dinner that includes penne pasta with marinara, garden salad, bread, coffee, and pop. There will then be a short Beyond Ghosts lecture, followed by a lights out investigation of the Akron House! This is a first time event of it's kind at the Akron House and one not to be missed! And with limited tickets at only $35 that includes dinner, they will not last long! The Akron House located at 15 Main Street, Akron, NY, 14001.
No refunds or exchanges on event tickets. All sales final. A rescheduled date will be made available in the unlikely event the ghost hunt is postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
