Healthy Cooking Foundation Class - Cooking with Organic Produce
Master the basics of whole-food, organic cooking while learning new culinary techniques and styles. In this class, we will explore how to cook with fresh organic produce. You will be given information about various types of produce, how they are grown, nutrition information, how they are processed for human consumption, as well as traditional and modern preparation techniques. After understanding the journey from nature to the point of purchase, we take the food to the table by preparing three recipes:
- Chicken "ZOODLE" Soup - Arugula Avocado Almond Salad with Strawberry Vinaigrette - Mediterranean Tapenade
All ingredients and materials are included in the class fees. Attendees will receive generous samples and printed recipes to take home. Class size limited to 20 people.
