The 5th Annual San Antonio Burlesque Festival will be taking place at the historic Woodlawn Theatre! We are excited to bring you such amazing and talented performers from all over the world, for two nights of burlesque, sideshow and classes! Classes are open to the public!

Our amazing headliner for the Saturday Night Spectacular on September 17, 2016, is a legendary burlesque beauty who is currently wearing one of the most coveted crowns in America. Winner of Season 7 of RuPaul's Drag Race and America's Next Drag Superstar, Violet Chachki will be bringing two stunning headlining performances to the Historic Woodlawn Theatre!

Chachki first performed at the bar LeBuzz in Marietta, Georgia, eventually winning Miss New Faces at Friends on Ponce in Atlanta. Later Violet became a regular cast member of The Other Show at the bar Jungle in Atlanta which gave them exposure locally and allowed them to perform with such drag greats as Alaska Thunderfuck 5000, Amanda Lepore, and Lady Bunny.

Violet Chachki took the title of America's Next Drag Superstar after winning three challenges and becoming the latest in a handful of contestants in the show's history to make it the finale without ever being in the bottom two!
