The Fool Factory: Commedia 102
Join the Fools for either day or both days of a Two-Day Training in ADVANCED COMMEDIA DELL'ARTE TECHNIQUE! August 20th & 21st, 10am to 4pm, 2016, at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.
A two-day intensive in utilizing the characters and lazzi-work of Commedia dell'Arte as an approach to devised work and text! Students will get opportunities to explore partner and group work as we find the funny and tickle the truth.
Open to students who have worked with Faction before or have equivalent training in Commedia. Come dressed to sweat and move. Participants are encouraged to bring water and snacks. (There will be a short lunch break with food options nearby.)
Spots are limited, so register now!
Located in the Elstad Theater at Gallaudet University. Closest Metro is NY Ave red line (about 7 blocks away--walk east on Florida Ave). Also there is parking outside the building. Please see this map: http://www.gallaudet.edu/x26849.xml.
