Tea with Dr. Afshin Mofid
Diaspora Arts Connection is proud to present an afternoon with former New York City Ballet dancer Afshin Mofid. Dr. Mofid will talk to us about his fascinating life as one of two children to legendary Iranian playwright and artist Bijan Mofid and the prominent poet Farideh Farjam. He will tell his remarkable story of becoming a dancer and moving to New York City to be discovered by the legendary choreographer, George Balanchine. He will also talk about the changes his life went through when one day he walked off the stage and reunited with nature, where his heart had longed to be since childhood. Dr. Mofid will tell the story of his remarkable and unusual life through finding his second calling in Chiropractic and living near the beautiful and vast Idaho wilderness.
