BE A PART of this amazing finish! Equally at home with opera, Broadway, or in an intimate recital hall, baritone Nathan Gunn has been a highly sought-after artist in many countries. The New York Times raved that Nathan Gunn commands an operatic baritone whose mighty heft and richness confer an outsize authority on everything he touches.
This concert will feature two beautifully emotional works by Ravel. Le Tombeau de Couperin is a suite of short movements, each composed in loving memory of people who died in WWI, and Don Quichotte à Dulciné is a song cycle based on the story of Don Quixote. Popular favorites from The Marriage of Figaro, The Barber of Seville, and others we promise youll be humming on your way home will round out this program. Dont miss whats certain to be a memorable night with Nathan Gunn as we bring our 40th Anniversary Season to a grand close.
