Construction Tour of the New Broadcom Campus

The program will be held at the OCPC project construction site. The program will consist of three parts.

PART 1:PRESENTATION - Project scope and program requirements. Attendees will learn about the client, project goals, building design, interior design and site design.

PART 2:REVIEW MOCK-UPS Attendees will view 7 mock-ups on site and learn the benefits and limitations of using mock-ups for to manage construction quality for key design elements.

PART 3:SITE TOUR Attendees will walk the site and view construction progress on items discussed in the presentation and mock-up.

1.Attendees will learn about the current workplace requirements for the Technology sector.

2.Attendees will learn about the challenges developing a 73-acre site and implementing California Green Code and Strom Water Management.

3.Attendees will earn about the benefits and limitations of using mock-ups for to manage construction quality for key design elements.

4.Attendees will learn how digital tools and technology assist the design and construction teams.

Full-length pants
Shirts to extend 4 below shoulders
Work boots

This project is under construction and requires safety features. There are no exceptions and while the contractor does have goggles, vests, and hard hats, the number available is limited.
