This film is highlighted as the best ever done on the topic of school - both its past and its future. Join us as parents, grandparents, educators, and children 12 years and older. All middle and high school students will be FREE at the door, no ticket purchase required. Most Likely to Succeed examines the history of education in the United States, revealing the growing shortcomings of conventional education methods in today's innovative world. Film at 3pm, followed by 45 minute panel discussion. We are very pleased to announce our panel: Shoreline School District Superintendent Rebecca Miner and Director of Teaching and Learning Maria Stevens, Meridian Park teacher Linda Smith, Shorewood teacher Jamie Fletcher, and Shorewood student TBA. They will be discussing where project based learning (PBL) is already being incorporated in the classroom here in our Shoreline Schools and how it affects student learning. They will focus the discussion on how to improve, encourage and approach adding PBL in the classroom for our students' benefit.
