SPIRITUALIZE! Follow the Artistry
For the past five years Boston Community Dance Project has guest performed at over 75 shows, hosted more than 15 workshops, and given out more than $1000 in scholarships for our CONTEMPORIZE! 2 Day Intensive. We are eager to strengthen the community, give back to ones in need, and celebrate those who should be acknowledge for their talents, acts of kindness, and love toward the performing arts! SPIRITUALIZE! will be uplifting for all and we hope for you to attend on August 27th at The BU Dance Theater!
This year we are also adding a SPIRITUALIZE! Art Gallery part of the night festivities which will be located in The BU Dance Theater Lobby before entering into the show room! Sculptures, Painters, Graphic Designers, Poets, and more art related pieces will be showcase to support the local artists of our community and tie in the theme of spiritualize right when you enter in!
Part of the proceeds will go to our beautiful and hardworking dancers as well as a charity of BCDP's choice to bring dance to everyone! This year we have decided to choose I'm A Dancer Against Cancer as our 2016 Charity Pick! We are thrilled to pair up with this organization and help children and families all of the world be support through rough times.
