Benefit for Second Harvest Food Bank
A Taste of Soquel promises to be a fun filled day of Food & Music for the Common Good! The Congregational Church of Soquel and the Capitola/Soquel Chamber of Commerce are co-sponsoring this event to benefit Second Harvest Food Bank. Save the date and talk it up with your family and friends.
There is something for everyone! Ralph Anybody, KPIG DJ, will emcee the live music by renowned local musicians. This year a Taste of Soquel is excited to welcome Red Beans and Rice; Eric Morrison and the Mysteries Bands. The Intangibillies kick off the event at 11:00 and U-TURN promises to have us dancing right up until 4:00PM!
Local Restaurants: Cafe D'Anna's, Café Cruz, Cafe D'anna, The Kitchen @ Discretion, La Gioconda, Sawasdee, The Fish Lady, Aldo's Bakery, and Vino Cruz, and more serve up food tastes especially prepared for this event. Check back for updates to this year's list, many of the same fine Soquel eateries are promised!
Soquel Breweries and Vintners: Welcome Everett Farm and Soquel Cider! Welcome back Soquel faves: Discretion Brewing, Soquel Vineyards, Bargetto Winery, and Hunter Hill Vineyard & Winery, Wargin Wines, Poetic Cellars, and Vino Cruz pouring tastes.
Farm Fresh!: Featuring local, farm fresh tastings from Fogline Farm and Jeff Walls' Family Honey.
Raffle: Over 50 local businesses donate raffle prizes. Raffle tickets will be available at the event.
In addition to all of that, there will be a special children's area, complete with Music Together, drumming with Ibou, crafts, dancing, Kennolyn Camp bounce house, snacks and the list goes on! You'll also want to check out the hospitality table with complimentary coffee provided by the Ugly Mug , tea, lemonade, ice water and food offerings (including fresh local berries!) from the Bagelry, Donut Station and others.
