Music and Visual join their considerable creative talents to present "Pictures at an Exhibition", featuring the music of Mussorgsky, Rachmaninoff and others.
As the principal selections for the performance, Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition" and Rachmaninov's "Isle of the Dead" are both musical works inspired by paintings, Visual Arts students were asked to creatively respond to the musical works being performed coming full circle from the manner in which these works were originally created further reinforcing the artistic link between sound and vision.
The musical presentation will be complemented by an exhibition and sale of student artwork.
