Moonlight Swing Band
The Moonlight Swing Band is a swing era big band that will take you back to the 1940s and the legendary sounds of Tommy Dorsey, Benny Goodman, Harry James, and Glenn Miller, especially when the band plays its signature song, Glenn Millers iconic Moonlight Serenade.
Formed in 2014, the band is composed of very talented musicians, all volunteers, who just enjoy playing the music of the 1940s and beyond. The band is receiving excellent reviews having played for the grand opening gala of a fine, home interiors gallery, Eyes on Main Street, an international large format photography exhibit in Wilson NC, and a private birthday party.
The Moonlight Swing Band is pleased to add yet another genre of music to the already rich music scene of its hometown, Wilson NC.
