Joe Buck: Lucky Bastard
Left Bank Books and Maryville Talks Books present an evening with sportscaster, St. Louisan, and author Joe Buck, in conversation with very special guest Jon Hamm about his new book, "Lucky Bastard: My Life, My Dad, and the Things I'm Not Allowed to Say on TV."
Ticket Information: $31 admits one person and includes one copy of "Lucky Bastard." $36 admits two people and includes one copy of "Lucky Bastard" and a $5 rebate towards the purchase of a second copy of "Lucky Bastard."
Over the past two decades, Joe Buck has become an increasingly important figure in sportscasting, starting in 1994 when FOX began broadcasting NFL games. Since then, he has moved seamlessly between announcing for the NFL, MLB, and even golf. Buck is the voice fans hear during the biggest games of the yearthe World Series and the Super Bowl. Yet despite his expansive history in the business, Buck is still, and will always be, linked to his father Jack Buck, the undisputed and much beloved voice of the St. Louis Cardinals. Now, for the first time ever, he is taking readers into the broadcast booth and into his childhood home in his debut memoir, "Lucky Bastard," a candid, self-deprecating, and humorous look into Bucks life.
