Karen Rizzo's theatre pieces have been seen in New York at Ensemble Studio Theatre, The Beckett Theatre and Playwrights Horizons, and in Los Angeles at EST/LA, Arcade, Literary Death Match and Space Gallery. She is the author of two books, dozens of magazine and newspaper stories and essays and has ghostwritten several books for...well, shes not at liberty to say. Rizzo is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre in New York and Los Angeles.
Dan Bonnell has staged productions for more than twenty-five companies in Los Angeles, and has been Artistic Director at Arcade, Co-Artistic Director of EST/LA and Resident Director at Circle Repertory Company in New York City. LORT: Long Wharf, Asolo Repertory Theatre, Alliance Theater and Pioneer Theater Company. International: Bronfman Center in Montreal, Theatre Les Deschargeurs in Paris and the National Youth Theater in Hanoi, Vietnam. Awards: the Los Angeles Drama Critics Circle, the LA Weekly, NAACP, and GLAAD Media Awards. Teaching: USC, CalArts, UCLA and UC Riverside.
Brea Bee most recently starred as Molly in Dusk Rings A Bell with Aquila Morong Studio where she has been a member since 2012. A Philadelphia native, Brea has performed with The Philadelphia Theatre Company, The PA Shakespeare Festival, and in Philly Fringe with Uncut Productions. Film and television appearances include Greys Anatomy, Dare, the upcoming Any Bullet Will Do, and David O. Russell's Academy Award winning Silver Linings Playbook in the role of Nikki. Brea is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory. Thank you EST/LA for this incredible adventure!
This is Mark Carapezza's first appearance with EST/LA. He has recently returned from a decade on Nantucket Island where he produced the pilot season of his original family show Detention with Oliver Diamond. Also while on Nantucket he was given Artist in Residence at The Nantucket New School, performed in dozens of plays with Theater Workshop Nantucket, drove an ice cream truck, sat on the Nantucket Arts Council Board, learned carpentry and masonry, created and produced the island-wide participatory environmental artwork Wishes From Nantucket, wrote and recorded original songs, and entertained thousands of kids and families as Magic Mark. He is happy to be back in Los Angeles.
James Macdonald has appeared on and off Broadway, at Ensemble Studio Theater in New York in his one-man show Big Frame Shakin, Louisvilles Humana Fest, with Olympia Dukakis in The Rose Tattoo; in Los Angeles at Zoo District, The Odyssey, the Mark Taper Auditorium and most recently in The Big Hill and The Foolish Angel in EST/LAs Playwrights One-Act Festival. Film highlights: Tigerland, Phone Booth, Broken Arrow, Space Cowboys, and, (yes) Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3-D. Hes guest-starred on dozens of TV shows and is recurring this fall on the new series Sweet/Vicious. JamesMacdonald.biz
Xochitl Romero can currently be seen in the House Ensemble Show, Eightball at The Second City in Hollywood. Her most recent Stage Credits include: SpiritWheel (The Lounge Theatre, Winner of the 2016 Encore Award), To The Bone (Cherry Lane Theatre), Chimichangas and Zoloft (The Atlantic Theatre).
