Drinking Lessons No. 25 Rum (Seating #1)
Drinking Lessons No. 25 Rum (Seating #1) RUM (featuring Cruzan)
Rum is a distilled alcoholic beverage made from sugarcane byproducts such as molasses, or directly from sugarcane juice, by a process of fermentation and distillation. The distillate, a clear liquid, is then usually aged in oak barrels.
Cruzan Rum is a producer located in Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands and is the largest supplier of American private and distributor label Rum. It is owned by Beam Inc.. Their distillery was founded in 1760 and claims the distinction of "the most honored rum distillery in the world." For eight generations and through various changes in corporate ownership, the distillery has been managed by the Nelthropp family.
Guests can expect an animated 1 hour lesson in the preparation and history of Rum cocktails from leading bartenders, drink historians and quality distillers, plus a few bites from the Hunt Club kitchen. Sessions at 6pm or 8pm and limited to 11 seats.
