Decent Company August: loyalty

Decent Company is a New York-based collective dedicated to the advancement of the theatrical writer/performer. The cornerstone of our work is our eponymous bimonthly showcase, featuring new works written and performed by company members.

This August, we're presenting stories about loyalty. We'll explore how we develop loyalty to friends, families, and communitiesand how far we're willing to let those loyalties be pushed. When we're betrayed by those we considered loyal, what does that do to us? What about when our loyalties are exploited by those who simply have their own selfish interests in mind? Are we only loyal in hopes of receiving some sort of reward, or is the mere act of loyalty its own reward?

Join us for an unforgettable night of boundary-pushing new work exploring the intersection of the political and the personal.
