Isobell w/special guests The Reverie Machine

Isobell began nearly 10 years ago when neighbors, Hannah Tarkinson and Chris Mckneally pooled their love for Cat Power, Bjork and a host of others into songs of moody, sometimes joyous & raucous, sometimes haunting music. Blissfully evolving over the years, the duo has become a quintet as Hannah's rapturous voice and expressive lyrics and Chris' unusual guitar textures were joined by the talents of Bekah Hayes on keys, and a powerful rhythm section consisting of Drew Wyman on bass and Chris Wilkes on drums. Isobell's first album, Maproom, was recorded in 2008 with Ron Harrity and we are now putting the finishing touches on our second album, recorded with Todd Hutchisen at Acadia.
