Water Conservation + Re-use Strategies
This seminar will focus on the benefits of water conservation and re-use strategies.
Learning Objectives: 1.Attendees will learn basic features and benefits of a rainwater harvesting system.
2.Attendees will learn and discuss the basic features and benefits of a greywater harvesting system.
3.Identify the variety of above and below ground vessels that can be used for rainwater and AC condensate.
4.Discuss strategies to mitigate storm water runoff and conserve water with water-retaining earthworks and infiltration basins.

Presenter Rosalind Haselbeck is the owner and president of Catching H2O Inc., a San Diego based company that specializes in the design and construction of water harvesting systems and living roofs for residential and commercial sites. Rosalind is a licensed landscape and general contractor (lic # 1011481), an ARCSA (American Rainwater Catchment Systems Association) accredited professional and a green roof accredited professional. She is also an accredited member of the G3 Gardens group. Rosalinds educational background includes a PhD in Biology from the University of California, Irvine.
