Fall Session: The Skywalker Cycle
Named after the famed adaptation of Shakespeares Rose Cycle, this exciting all-ages show will bring the epic space opera to life with the original trilogy told by three different casts and three different directors. The full cast will be in battles, cantina scenes, and fuzzy-teddy-bears-with-spears scenes. This shortened version of the all time favorite films will use parody and hijinks mixing elegant language from a more civilized time, to tell the greatest story of our time! Great opportunities for casting, in that all leads will be played by different people for each episode!
Instructors: Orion Couling, Rob Southgate, and Rick Olson
Ages: All ages 6-18
Weeks: 7
Rehearsal Time: Mondays 10am-12pm, (some cast Wednesdays 10-12pm)
Day: Large group Mondays, select scenes Wednesdays
Start and end date (rehearsals): 8/29-10/12 (no rehearsal on 9/5 or 9/7)
Locations:
Rehearsals are primarily at Pendulum Space in North Center (1803 W Byron St #216, Chicago, IL 60613) with some Wednesdays at E.D.G.E. headquarters (Orion and Angelas apartment 5805 N. Ridge Unit 2, Chicago Il 60660)
Techs and Performances
are held at Devonshire Playhouse in Skokie
