Fall Session: Yoga for Youngbloods
What could a kid learn in yoga? SO many things... Yoga has been proven to enhance physical flexibility, refine balance and coordination, develop focus and concentration, boost self confidence and esteem and strengthen the body-mind connection.
How could yoga help with my acting, stage combat and/or stage aspirations? Yoga can prepare you to deal with stage fright and/or nervousness by using breathing techniques, or poses to harness your nerves for the stage. It can also physically prepare you for the demands of the stage by strengthening and conditioning your body.
Cara Carothers works to bring all of these elements to this 6 week session building upon the previous week, incorporating basics of yoga with bits of history, to create a solid foundation for future and continued yoga practice.
