Naturals 101 in Perfumery with Yves Cassar
Join celebrated perfumer Yves Cassar as he gives students a guided tour of the use of naturals in perfume. Explaining the perfumer's palette, the notes that consist of a fragrance and its interactions, Cassar will showcase the natural ingredients in various olfactive families, such as fruits, florals, woods, and musks.
Students will learn the distillation processes used in perfumery to extract natural ingredients, and the growing and distilling process for a variety of plants including narcissus, black currant, rose, and jasmine.
By the end of the workshop, students will discover how to utilize naturals in their own perfume creations.
