In Translation: An Evening of Poetry and Music
Composer Zack Zadek and poet Gabriela Garcia team up to create an evening of experimental interdisciplinary arts that examines the complex relationship between music and poetry. They will each write pieces in their chosen mediums in response to each others work. This will include several musical compositions by Zadek written in response to Garcias poems and vice versa, the result being six original pairs of music and poetry that speak directly to each other, written and performed specifically for this event.
