On the Road Tour - HIDDEN TREASURES OF CLARK COUNTY
Situated in between I-205 and Hwy 99 on NE 119th is the original Chapman house built in 1905, now owned by Joe and Sally Aalbue, who have spent 22 years restoring the house, listed on the Clark County Historical Registry. The gardens include 105-year old walnut trees; an herb, vegetable, and raspberry garden; a memorial garden in honor of Joes son; perennial and annuals with extensive lawn on the 5 acres.
Located on 5 acres surrounded by golden Leyland cypress and pine at the top of a hill in Hockinson, the beautifully landscaped gardens of Roy Whitlock and Vinette Mothershed include the follow gardens: Wildflowers, rhododendrons, roses, perennials, evergreens, 20,000 daffodils, an extensive day lily planting, fruit trees, and more. Roy is active in the Clark County Daylily Society(American Hemerocallis Society.

Nestled on a slope just off I-5 is Birds English Garden & Nursery. Besides all of the nursery plants, a gift shop inside includes garden art and handcrafted concrete statuary items created by a local Woodland artist. A walking tour of the nursery will be included along with shopping.
