ARTPORN

ARTPORN is a collaboration between poet Jacob Brooks and musician and audio engineer Maya Chun. Full-body performances of nine of Brooks' poems meet live processing, samples, and background tracks performed by Chun to produce a loud, stimulating spectacle taking the combined form of ambient set, poetry reading, and persona performance.

Jacob Brooks is a writer from Michigan. His work has appeared in Adult Magazine, ENCLAVE, Yalobusha Review, and elsewhere. His chapbook ARTPORN is published by Citizen of the World. He tweets @skinandimpulses.

Maya Chun is an Ann Arbor based producer, engineer and musician. She has based much of her work on her strong devotion to 90s prog metal and reverb. Her music can be found at musicisreallydumb.bandcamp.com/.
