Course Details:

There will be a combination of food demos and hands-on food prep, interactive lectures, moving and shaking, delicious lunches and super-plant-nutrition throughout the day and informal Q&A.  We believe the best way to learn about food is to have a tactile experience. Hands memorise far better than our brains. Our aim is to make food together in our lovely, spacious and well equipped kitchen. You'll be in foodie heaven!

Location:
Central Street Cookery School. All proceedings from the venue rental go towards community activities for underprivileged inner-city communities providing them with engagement through cookery classes, free lunches and other community activities.

About Us:
The course is run by Joel and Aiste Gazdar, founders of a popular raw-centric eatery in Covent Garden Wild Food Cafe.

Having spent more than half his lifetime devoted to discovering worldwide traditions of wellbeing and longevity Joels journey has led him to a deep exploration of body movement, detoxification and nutrition which he has been sharing and teaching internationally within the wellbeing industry for 15 years. Joel is a pioneer of the wellbeing revolution and ignites this passion in others.
Aistes interest in food stems from a life-time immersion into multi-disciplinary wellbeing fields of yoga, meditation, ayurveda, dance and herbalism. She was raised within the old-school foraging traditions of Lithuania and has an innate passion for bringing back wild, medicinal foods into everyday cuisine. With a varied background in business, global politics and photography Aiste has used her multi-disciplinary skills and a deep awareness of current global challenges to propel the food and wellbeing transformation - one plateful at a time.

Aiste & Joel will be supported by the awesome Wild Food Cafe crew who know, live and breathe raw food every day. They will be able to support and guide you through your journey with practical tips and personal attention.

Our inspiration and drive comes from seeing you THRIVE, being ALIVE and becomming EMPOWERED through food, nutrition and wellbeing. We'd love to see you on our workshop where we bring the whole experience to life, making our SOUL'S sing, dance and have fun together.

The weekend immersion is focused on the multi-disciplinary nature of holistic, authentic wellbeing while giving raw, wild and plant-food and leading-edge wellbeing strategies the cental stage over the two days.

We acknowledge that food alone is not enough to bring about the transformative change and happiness in the desired areas of our lives. Inspired by over two decades of our own personal immersion into various fields of wellbeing we bring participants together onto a journey of exploring of what is it that brings about wellbeing & thriving to them as individuals.

We don't stay long with left-brain, rigid nutritional guidelines. We truly believe - and experience over and over again - that a holistic, well-rounded fun learning experience is the best way to facilitate long-term shifts and transformations. Our approach is playful and all-inclusive. We do not prescribe to any specific dietary systems. Instead we offer you a holistic system of understanding and practical tips which you can apply to your own life in a way that is authentic for you.

There's something to be learned by everybody: you might be surprised and excited about the fact that adding one teaspoon of pau d'arco powder to your tea will keep the inflammatory infections away, or it might be learning that eating a tablespoon of cold-pressed coconut oil each day will significantly reduce your sugar cravings and improve memory.

You will learn a lot about the context and core architecture of wellbeing, food, nutrition and more, because we believe that once you understand the core principles of your body, environment, ecosystem, nature and food you will be empowered to make choices that perpetuate your wellbeing, naturally.
