LEADING BAY AREA CHOREOGRAPHER BOUNCES BACK AFTER A LIFE THREATENING ILLNESS

Labayen Dance/SF's returns since its director Enrico Labayen battled with life threatening liver & lung disease for over two years. Labayens Dance/SFs  Fall Season is at Dance Mission Theatre on October 14-16, 2016.

Featuring Enrico's world premiere work "CROSSING a piece that explores the  experiences of those who served & suffered the heart breaking the wrath of war.

Also on the program are new works by Anandha Ray, Erik Wagner & Malu Rivera-Peoples, eclectic and exciting choreographers that tackles relevant themes of Cherokee Indian experiences, love, loss/mourning  of a love one, the importance of balance between sexes, young adults trying to fit in today's society.
