Becky Radway Dance Projects: A strange set of attachments
A strange set of attachments is an original, multimedia work featuring four live dancers and over 125 special guests making appearances in the video projection.  With heart and humor, and without judgment, this new production points a finger at our natural idiosyncrasies, both deliberate and unintentional. Our clothes, our body language, and how we choose to act in any given situation say a lot about the character we present to the world. These tiny personal choices are highlighted throughout, molded into athletic movement phrases, intimate partnering, and quirky theatrics. By altering the live and recorded environments, with shifting video backdrops and an arsenal of costumes, A strange set of attachments draws out what makes us... well, us.
