The Sun Harbor Chorus Sapphire Jubilee is a celebration of 70 years of Barbershop Harmony in San Diego. This delightful afternoon of wholesome family entertainment will tell the Story of Barbershop Quartet Harmony in Americas Finest City. The roots of a cappella in the county.
The historic Casa del Prado Theater will host:
* The Sun Harbor Chorus - San Diego's Oldest Barbershop Chorus - founded in 1946.
* The Pacific Suns - A Youth Honor Chorus with some of the best a cappella singers in San Diego.
* A reunion of outstanding Barbershop Quartets.
This event has been 70 years in the making. Seventy glorious harmonious years of life changing music.
Balboa Park is beautiful in the fall. Pack a picnic and come early.
