Girl, Boi, Grrl: Party Like an Animal
Attention burlesque lovers and party animals! It's time to party for a cause! On Saturday, July 9th at 10pm, Hulas Bar & Lei Stand and Pretty Peacock Productions present Honolulus hottest gender-bending extravaganza, Girl, Boi, Grrl: Party Like an Animal! We are raising funds to support our LGBT community in Orlando. Get ready to get hit with a hot mess of glitter, gloves and fierceness with a variety show combining some of the best of Hawaiis drag, dance and burlesque performances. Hosted by Rhonda Corner and featuring dance by The Aphrodisiacs, burlesque performances by Lola Love,Miss Catwings, Bijoux Bordell, Foxy Knoxx and students of the Academy of Tease.
Girl, Boi, Grrl: Party Like an Animal celebrates a decade of neo-burlesque in Hawaii! Ten years ago Lola Love co-founded the first troupe in the Aloha State. Ten years later there are 3 troupes on the island, dozens of independent performers and burlesque throughout the state.
Girl, Boi, Grrl guarantees a few laughs, a whole lot of tease and a show that will leave you satisfied whether you like Girls, Bois or Grrls. There is a costume contest for the best party attire so make sure to come dressed to impressed!
