Music for a Royal Wedding
An imaginary day at the court of the court of Louis the XIV, unfolding from an intimate
morning serenade for the King, to a ballet suite full of rhythmic surprises, culminating in a
triumphant motet by the composer Mondonville. The program features the Kingsbury
orchestra, soloists and the St Peters chorus, David Sinden director.
