Fence Building for Small Acreages
This hands-on fence building workshop will teach how to install high tension 'kiwi' fence. We'll begin by covering how to set posts and assemble braces. Next we'll move on to installing, stretching and tightening high tensile wire and if time permits we'll also get into turning corners. Additionally, we'll discuss the use of temporary electric fence for cross fencing and pasture rotation.
This workshop is put on by the Small Acreage Program which is made possible by joint sponsorship from WSU Clark County Extension and Clark County Environmental Services Clean Water Program.
WSU Extension programs are available to all without discrimination. Persons requiring special accommodations should call WSU Clark County Extension at (360) 397-6060 ext. 0 at least two weeks prior to the event.
