Join us for Wild Night Out, an annual celebration in support of keeping Washington wild and green for generations to come! Enjoy beautiful views overlooking the Puget Sound, delicious and hearty appetizers, complimentary wine, and complimentary beer from Fremont Brewing Company. Come and bid on unique outdoor gear, getaways, and much, much more!
The event will begin at 5 p.m. with a silent auction lasting for approximately 90 minutes. Afterwards we will launch into our programming for the night, which includes awards, a short live auction and paddle raise.
Washington Wild is thrilled to recognize the following individuals who have played a major role in contributing to Washington's Wilderness Legacy!
Conservation Voices Award - The Honorable Daniel J. Evans, Former Governor and U.S. Senator
Karen M. Fant Founders Award - Bob Lynette, Olympic Peninsula Activist
Brewshed Award - Pamela Brulotte, owner of Icicle Brewing Company
We hope you will join us at this years Wild Night Out as we celebrate the 100 year anniversary of the National Park Service and Washington's Wilderness Legacy.
In 1988, the Washington Park Wilderness Act protected 90% of Mt. Rainier, North Cascades and Olympic National Parks as designated Wilderness. In addition to these protections, Washington Wild and its supporters have played an invaluable role in permanently protecting nearly 3 million acres of Wilderness since 1979. We look forward to continuing this legacy on the Olympic Peninsula and Beyond!
