Rob Salkowitz Book Release After Party

Join the MCDM as we celebrate faculty member Rob Salkowitz and his book release party! Festivities will be held after his book reading / signing event at the Disctrict Lounge, this is a special event for the MCDM!

Message from the Author: My new book, Comic-Con and the Business of Pop Culture, comes out this month from McGraw-Hill and I would like to invite you to my reading/signing event at the University Bookstore, 4326 University Way, N.E. Seattle, Washington 98105 on Thursday, June 28, starting at 7pm.

The book combines my professional work as a business analyst and futurist with my personal passion for comics and pop culture. It's also a fun glimpse behind the scenes of North America's wildest art and trade event, the San Diego Comic-Con. Whether you are into geeky pop culture stuff, business/communications/technology, or both, I hope you will find something to enjoy. Early reviews have been pretty good, and I'm kicking things off doing media and events in New York. The reading on the 28th will be my hometown debut and it would be really cool to get a nice turnout and some friendly faces in the crowd.

If you are free, please come by, pick up a copy and say hi. If you've already ordered a copy and want it signed, let me know. And if you miss the University Bookstore event, I'll be hanging out chatting and signing books on Saturday, 1-4pm, at Comics Dungeon in Wallingford (250 Northeast 45th Street Seattle, WA 98105).
