RCR Skating Clinic with VanEssa "V-Diva" Sites
Rock Coast Rollers is thrilled to announce it will be hosting a three-hour co-ed clinic with award-winning Team USA and Gotham Girls Roller Derby skater VanEssa "V-Diva" Sites (formerly of Philly Roller Derby).
The clinic will be blocker-focused, with some jamming:
-Jamming like a star that you are
-Blocking in pairs
-Backwards Blocking
-Plugging holes in a formation wall
-Playing offense for your jammer
-Scenario plays
The clinic will run on Saturday, July 9, from 12 pm to 3 pm at the Midcoast Recreation Center, ahead of the Rock Coast Rollers annual Maine Event competition.
The clinic is open to all MSR-passed, scrimmage eligible skaters. All skaters must be WFTDA-insured and must present proof of insurance at check-in.
Tickets are available online -- $20 for participating skaters and $15 for spectators. Tickets are also available at the door -- $25 for skaters and $20 for spectators. Tickets are non-refundable.
