Part of the St. Joseph's College Centennial Celebration

Hosted by PSA Executive Director Alice Quinn
Tickets free; RSVP required to reserve a seat

Marie Ponsot's Collected Poems is the stunning lifework of the prizewinning and beloved poet, gathered in one volume: the world she has made of life's fire for sixty years.  With lyrical joy, the volume offers the full range of Ponsot's gift for constructing the pleasures and pains of a riddle that the music and wit of her language solve just in the nick of time.  Ponsot graduated from St. Josephs College in 1940; the college, currently celebrating its centennial year, joins the poetry community in honoring the life and work of one of its greatest talents.  The Poetry Society of America co-sponsors this evening's celebration, hosted by Alice Quinn, as distinguished poets read from Ponsot's work and pay tribute to her legacy.

This event is free, but seating is limited.  Copies of Collected Poems will be offered for sale at 20% off at the event only.
