Newburgh Chamber Music Series Presents Innisfree +
Newburgh Chamber Music Series presents the first in its 2016/2017 Concert Series Innisfree +. Innisfree will be joined by violist Rachel Evans and baritone Kent Smith and will perform music by Beethoven, Mozart and Faure'.
Carole Cowan, violinist, Susan Seligman, cellist, and Sylvia Buccelli, pianist, are colleagues and founding members of Innisfree, performing classical piano trio literature and contemporary music. Together for fifteen years, they have recorded and performed many works of living American composers, including a CD of the music of Henry Martin. The groups name is inspired by Yeats poem, The Lake Isle of Innisfree, and is a reference to the landscaped gardens in nearby Millbrook, New York.
