Online ticket sales end at Midnight on Friday, October 30. After then, pay at the dance.
On Sunday October 2, 2016 at Glen Echo Park's Spanish Ballroom, the Folklore Society of Greater Washington is proud to sponsor the 6th annual ContraStock Contradance festival. The dance goes from 1PM through 11PM. You are strongly encouraged to participate in the dance world's best potluck held during the dinner-time intermission (6-7PM), with either a main dish, side dish or dessert. Here are the dancing details:
The three bands performing are:
- Stringrays (1 PM)
- Barefoot (3:40 PM)
- Mean Lids (7 PM)
At 9:40PM there will be an all-band dance jam!
Callers will be Will Mentor, Gaye Fifer and Mary Wesley.
Ticket prices range from $25-$40 for all day, $22-$25 for daytime-only.

Buy your ticket with a T-shirt included for an extra $20:
- Regular T-shirts are Black, Blue or Red.
- Ladies Tank shirts are Black or Blue.
Shirt sizes are S, M, L, XL. We also have XS in ladies tanks and 2XL in regular T-shirt.
Please choose your T-shirt color, style and size in the Questionnaire,
or else email dance@fsgw.org with your T-shirt style, size and color.
T-shirts MUST be pre-ordered - We cannot sell T-shirts at the event.
