West Coast Live: July 14th
From the Freight & Salvage at 2020 Addison St. in downtown Berkeley, SEDGE welcomes:

CARLOS RUIZ ZAFON - one of the world's most read and best-loved writers, returning this summer with the third book in his cycle of novels set in "the literary universe of the Cemetery of the Forgotten Books" -- The Prisoner of Heaven.

JULIE OTSUKA - the bestselling author of When the Emperor Was Devine brings us her much anticipated novel The Buddha in the Attic, the story of a group of young Japanese 'picture brides' who sailed to America in the early 1900s.

JOSHUA HENKIN - director the MFA program in Fiction Writing at Brooklyn College and author of such notable novels as Matrimony and Swimming Across the The Hudson with his latest, The World Without You.

WOODY GUTHERIE'S AMERICAN SONG - This is the day of Woody Gutherie's 100th birthday, and we're pleased to have the cast of this incredible play on to celebrate Woody's song and story.

MIKE GREENSILL on piano, and more!
